i-Net+ Part 4 Security and Business
This course presents students with an overview of Internet security and business concepts. The Security section presents possible areas of vulnerability and how to protect against viruses, restrict and control access, conduct auditing, and handle encryption. The Business Concepts section presents e-business and e-commerce concepts and models. This sections deals with managing transactions and provides instruction on language and marketing considerations and legal issues.
i-Net+ Part 3 Web Site Development
This course presents students with an overview of programming languages and database integration technologies. This course focuses on the basic HTML tags for Web site creation and Web site enhancement techniques; including adding interactivity, style sheets, and modern technologies. The Launching Web Sites section deals with Web site testing and using search engines effectively.
i-Net+ Part 2 Servers and Clients
This course presents students with instruction on the main Internet servers, application server providers, and how to configure and use Internet clients. The course also teaches about site monitoring procedures and client-side and server-side caching.
i-Net+ Part 1 Internet Basics
This course introduces internetworking. It describes internetworking components and when to use them. This course also introduces the OSI Layer and TCP/IP, DNS hierarchical structure, and remote access protocols. The Internet Infrastructure section in this course deals with network access points, ISPs and Internet backbone, and the Internet connectivity process.
i-Net+ Part 1
This is the first course in a four-part series designed to help candidates prepare for the i-Net+ certification. i-Net+ is a certification sponsored by the Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA). The i-Net+ certification is vendor-neutral and validates an individual's baseline knowledge of Internet concepts. The exam is designed to validate that Internet technical professionals have the skills to implement and maintain Internet, intranet, and extranet infrastructure and services as well as develop related applications. This first course in the series provides the foundational knowledge needed to understand how the Internet works. It is designed to teach learners that the Internet is a large network using different types of hardware, software and communication protocols. This course teaches learners the purpose and functions of those protocols.
i-Net+ Part 2
This is the second course in a four-part series designed to help candidates prepare for the i-Net+ certification. i-Net+ is a certification sponsored by the Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA). The i-Net+ certification is vendor-neutral and validates an individual's baseline knowledge of Internet concepts. The exam is designed to validate that Internet technical professionals have the skills to implement and maintain Internet, intranet, and extranet infrastructure and services as well as develop related applications. This second course in the series builds on the first course by teaching learners about the functions and features of the Internet servers and clients that provide content via TCP/IP.

This is the third course in a four-part series designed to help candidates prepare for the i-Net+ certification. i-Net+ is a certification sponsored by the Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA). The i-Net+ certification is vendor-neutral and validates an individual's baseline knowledge of Internet concepts. The exam is designed to validate that Internet technical professionals have the skills to implement and maintain Internet, intranet, and extranet infrastructure and services as well as develop related applications. This third course in the series provides an overview of the tools and technologies available for Internet site design and development. It also covers some issues related to site functionality and pre-launch testing.

This is the final course in a four-part series designed to help candidates prepare for the i-Net+ certification. i-Net+ is a certification sponsored by the Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA). The i-Net+ certification is vendor-neutral and validates an individual's baseline knowledge of Internet concepts. The exam is designed to validate that Internet technical professionals have the skills to implement and maintain Internet, intranet, and extranet infrastructure and services as well as develop related applications. This course teaches learners the fundamentals about two issues that are receiving increasing importance in the business world - security and using the Internet for business. The security section of the course provides an introduction to the different types of Internet, intranet and extranet security issues. The business concepts section provides an overview of a broad range of topics, including copyright, working in a global environment, audience appeal and e-commerce.
