Network+ Part 1 Data Communications
This course is the first in a five-part series which is intended to help candidates prepare for the Network+ Certification. The Network+ certification is a testing program sponsored by the Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA) that certifies the knowledge of network technicians with 18-24 months experience in the IT industry. The exam for Network+ covers a wide range of vendor and product-neutral networking technologies. This course will introduce students to the concepts associated with computer networks.
Network+ Part 2 Network Connectivity
This course is the second in a five-part series which is intended to help candidates prepare for the Network+ Certification. The Network+ certification is a testing program sponsored by the Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA) that certifies the knowledge of network technicians with 18-24 months experience in the IT industry. The exam for Network+ covers a wide range of vendor and product-neutral networking technologies. This course will provide students with an opportunity to learn about the characteristics of and processes within the Data Link and Network layers, and choose connectivity devices to enhance network performance.
Network+ Part 3 TCP IP Internetwork
This course is the third in a five-part series which is intended to help candidates prepare for the Network+ Certification. The Network+ certification is a testing program sponsored by the Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA) that certifies the knowledge of network technicians with 18-24 months experience in the IT industry. The exam for Network+ covers a wide range of vendors and product-neutral networking technologies. This course will help students learn how the Transport layer bridges the gap between network-specific process and local computer-specific process, and the basic functions of the major protocols that make up the TCP/IP protocol suite.
Network+ Part 4 Plan and Implement
This course is the fourth in a five-part series which is intended to help candidates prepare for the Network+ Certification. The Network+ certification is a testing program sponsored by the Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA) that certifies the knowledge of network technicians with 18-24 months experience in the IT industry. The exam for Network+ covers a wide range of vendor and product-neutral networking technologies. This course will cover how to plan and implement a network.
Network+ Part 5 Security Troubleshoot
This is the final course in a five-part series which is intended to help candidates prepare for the Network+ Certification. The Network+ certification is a testing program sponsored by the Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA) that certifies the knowledge of network technicians with 18-24 months experience in the IT industry. The exam for Network+ covers a wide range of vendor and product-neutral networking technologies. This course provides students an opportunity to develop knowledge and skills in providing security on a network, designing and implementing remote access to a LAN, maintaining a network, dealing with hardware failure, and solving problems using a systematic troubleshooting process.
Network+ Pt 1 Media and Topologies
The first course in the Network+ curriculum begins with an introduction to Networking. It also covers network topologies and transmission media and standards. It also covers Connectivity devices, for both network and remote access.
Network+ Pt 2 Protocols
The second course in the Network+ curriculum begins with the OSI model. It also covers nerwork and application protocols and associated standards. It also introduces network services in particular, network addrssing and esolution, WAN technologies, remote access and finally covers TCP/IP troubleshooting utilities.
Network+ Pt 3 Implementation
The final course in the Network+ curriculum covers the relationship between client and server operating systems. It also covers network security. It also teaches on how to plan the network, in particular fault tolerance and disaster recovery. Finally, it teaches network troubleshooting considerations.
