CIW Security Professional Part 1
This first course in the series covers lessons 1-5 in the CIW Security Professional Series - Course #1: Network Security and Firewalls (2NSF). This course teaches the concepts of security, the elements of a secure system, how to apply encryption principles, the different types of common security attacks, and how to create an effective security infrastructure.
CIW Security Professional Part 2
This is the second course in a five part series that teaches protocol layers and security, the resources needed to secure servers, using firewalls, the levels of firewall protection, how to detect and distract hackers, and how to respond to hacker activity.
CIW Security Professional Part 3
This is the third course in a five part series which covers the content in the CIW Security Professional Series. This course teaches security principles for Unix and Windows NT systems, implementing account security, implementing file system security, assessing security risks, and reducing risks.
CIW Security Professional Part 4
This is the fourth course in a five part series that teaches students about the role of the security auditor, discovery methods that can be used to find weaknesses, auditing server penetration and attack techniques, and the steps of the control phase.
CIW Security Professional Part 5
This is the final course in a five part series that teaches students how to automate intrusion detection, how to conduct a log analysis, and how to analyze the results of a security audit and implement solutions to problems identified by the audit.

CIW Internetworking Professional Pt 1
This course presents students with a broad overview of TCP/IP network technology. The course will provide an outline of the infrastructure of the Internet and the place of TCP/IP within this infrastructure. It will describe the features of TCP/IP architecture and Internet addressing. It will also cover techniques for troubleshooting TCP/IP networks. The course will also introduce students to the network environment, and the principles of VoIP and Multicast IP.
CIW Internetworking Professional Pt 2
This course presents students with instruction in the subject of the IP model. It covers the features and functions of several layers in the OSI model - including the network access layer, the Internet layer, and the transport layer. The student will also learn how to use various TCP/IP troubleshooting tools.
CIW Internetworking Professional Pt 3
This portion of the instruction will teach students about TCP/IP functions and services. This course will cover Internet addressing, including the domain name system. It will also cover the interaction between Unix and DNS and Windows 2000 and DNS. It will cover the BOOTstrap and DHCP protocols. This course will also cover routing principles and protocols.
CIW Internetworking Professional Pt 4
This course will provide instruction on the features of network management. It will provide an overview of management functional areas and the network management model. It will also introduce the features and functions of SNMP. The student will learn how to install and configure SNMP and SNMP agents. The course will also introduce the features and functions of MIB as well as the functions of SNMP in an enterprise. Finally, the student will also receive instruction on SNMPv2 and SNMPv3.
CIW Internetworking Professional Pt 5
This course provides instruction on the features and functions of IPv6. The course will begin with a comparison of IPv4 and IPv6. It will proceed to examine the IPv6 header and extension headers, as well as the IPv6 address architecture. The course covers IPv6 routing and security, reduced network management with IPv6, and transitioning to IPv6. Finally, the course will also take a brief look at mobile IP.

CIW Server Admin Pt 1 Configuring
This course will teach students how to install and configure servers. The course is divided into two main parts: System Installation and Configuration Issues and Web Server Configuration. The System Installation and Configuration Issues section presents the common IT tasks and services, operating systems, installation strategies, and configuring systems such as Windows 2000 and Linux. The Web Server Configuration section introduces the common Web servers, access methods and remote administration in IIS, and creating virtual servers and virtual directories.
CIW Server Admin Pt 2 User Mgt
This course will teach students how to manage users. The essentials of user management are presented as well as the techniques for managing users in Windows 2000 and managing users in Linux. The Managing Users in Windows 2000 section deals with the SAM, user rights, policies, and shared folders. The Managing Users in Linux section deals with manually and automatically adding users in Linux, linuxconf, password files, and policies.
CIW Server Admin Pt 3: Services
This course will teach students about services. The instruction is divided into three main parts: Name Resolution with Windows 2000 and Linux, Name Resolution with WINS and Samba, and Implementing Internet Services. The learner is taught how to install a DNS service in Windows 2000, and how to configure DNS servers and clients. This course also introduces NetBIOS, how to configure WINS servers and Samba and SWAT.The final section in the course, Implementing Internet Services, deals with FTP servers and controlling access in FTP.
CIW Server Admin Pt 4 Servers
This course will teach students about the various servers. The course is divided into two main parts: Advanced Web Server Configuration and E-Mail and News Servers. In the Advanced Web Server Configuration section, Web applications, Perl, gateways, and streaming Web servers are covered. In the E-Mail and News Servers section, the installation and configuration of both E-Mail and News Servers are dealt with.

This course will deal with optimizing server performance and services and protecting the integrity of servers. The course is divided into three main parts: Server Optimization, Security, and Fault Tolerance.
